- Winter peas are a quick growing annual legume that wildlife love and if planted late can occasionally survive the Winter.
- As a wildlife plot seed they are best planted in the early Fall and they are usually eaten well before November
- When planted with other Fall seeds like Brassicas or Forage Oats they make a great bow season attracter.
- They are a good soil builder and Nitrogen producer but need something planted with them to support the flimsy stalks.
