Description
- Cereal Rye is an annual grain that is probably the most Winter hardy of any annual.
- Planted in the Fall it will survive the Winter producing some Fall forage , but not a lot, it will make a lot of tonnage the following Spring.
- It is very aggressive when planted in August or early September and will smother weeds to make a very clean plot to plant perennial clover mixes into after terminating Rye in the Spring or after maturity in July. Be aware, if allowed to mature it can be 7 or 8 feet tall!

- Seed Rate: 12 lbs. covers 1/8 acre
- Depth to Sow: 1/2" - 3/4"
- Planting Dates: Aug-Nov
