Seeding Rate for this mix is 10# per acre.

This mix produces a high proteinforage preferred by deer turkey and grouse throughout the year. This mix will provide the essential minerals for body growth and antler development.

This mix is to be planted early spring or early sumer though early fall. Planting late summer through early fall is the optimum time to allow proper roote base and less stress due to summer drought.

Once established with normal rainfall and proper management, you can expect growth for 3 to 5 years. For best results plant this mix in an open area that provides at least 50% sunlight.

Planting Directions:

1.)     Control weeds with an application of Round-UP ™ or similar herbicide 7 days prior to tillage.

2.)     (OPTIONAL) Add fertilizer and live according to soil testing recommendations. If not available add 1-2 tons of lime and 300 lbs of 10-15-10 fertilizer or equivalent per acre

3.)     Till the soil and provide a firm seed bed.

4.)     Plant the desired seed mix at the recommended rate using a grain drill or broadcast seeder

5.)     Lightly drag or culitpack to cover seed with ¼” of soil/
