Seeding Rate is 10# per acre.
This mix can be planted in the spring for season long grazing. This blend is a combination of early to late season brassicas. However, mixes containing Brassica seeds provide the best fall and winter forage when plant in late summer to early fall.
This mix is a real attractant for deer providing them with succulent forage in the late fall and winter when other food sources are brown and dormant.
This mix can be overseeded on permanenet food plots to increase the lifespan of your food plot.

Plant Native Wildlife Cover Mix when soil temperatures reach a minimum of 60 degrees, usually April through May. Control Seeds with an application of Roundup ™ or similar herbicide 7 days prior to tillage. Add fertilizer and live according to soil test recommendations. If not available , add 1 -2 tons of lime and 300lbs of 10-15-10 fertilizer or equivalent per acre. Till the soil and provide a firm seed bed. Plant the desired seed mixture at the recommended rate using a grain drill or broadcast seeder. Lightly drag or cultipak to cover seed with ¼” of soil. Recommended Planting Dates Spring: March 15-May 15 and Fall: July 20- Sept 15.
